The hardest thing a man can do is try to buy the perfect ring for his partner. The last thing I wanted to do is go to one of your “typical chain jewellery stores” and buy a ring that 1500 other women are currently wearing.

Searching far and wide for that perfect ring, a nice lady told me to walk the streets in Subiaco. As I am not from Perth I was hitting the usual spots.

Subiaco I went! Ecali was the first and only spot I went to in Subiaco. It was the last for many reasons.

Melanie greeted me as I walked in. At this stage I had a few “musts” with the ring which I told her. She knew exactly what I was looking for. Looking through the rings was a very different experience than all the other places I went to. She made it as easy as it could be for me to choose the ring and the stone.

I left the shop very pleased with my choice and confident.

I recently had the pleasure of dealing with the very friendly and helpful staff at Ecali in the process of getting an engagement ring for my partner. I had a pretty limited knowledge of fine jewellery as most guys do, but a basic idea of what I was looking for.

After sitting down with Melanie and showing her a picture of what I was thinking, we worked out a price range that I could work with and she gave me a few different selections to choose from. I made my decision and had the ring sent away to be made. It only took 3 days and it was ready, I had the option of paying it off in instalments and when I had finished paying it off they offered to hold it in the store free of charge until I was ready to propose.

The ring turned out amazing, the missus was over the moon (she said yes!) and I was happy that I had made the decision to go with an establishment such as Ecali, and it payed off. All the staff made the process (what I thought would be pretty daunting..) extremely easy, fun and friendly.

I highly recommend going to see them (especially other guys looking at engagement rings haha) and I will definitely be back to get a wedding band made there when the time comes.
